Terms of Service

The rules for using ScryCheck.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using ScryCheck (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Description of service

ScryCheck is a free web-based tool that analyzes Commander (EDH) deck lists and provides power level estimates, vector breakdowns, combo detection, and upgrade suggestions. Basic analysis is available without an account. Creating an account unlocks additional features including saved decks, stable deck URLs, deck history, bulk import from Moxfield and Archidekt, and a public profile page.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time without notice.

3. Use of the service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not:

  • Submit malicious or harmful content through any input field
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service in a way that degrades performance for other users
  • Use automated tools to submit large volumes of deck analyses without prior written consent
  • Misrepresent the origin of any deck list or other content you submit

4. Accounts

You may create an account using a magic-link email or an OAuth provider (Google or Discord). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

When you create an account you will be asked to choose a username. Usernames are public, permanent parts of your profile URL (/u/username). You must not choose a username that impersonates another person, infringes a trademark, or is otherwise misleading or harmful. We reserve the right to reclaim or reassign usernames that violate these guidelines.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us via the contact page. Upon deletion, your account data and saved decks will be removed. Deck analyses shared with the public directory prior to deletion may remain visible if they are also associated with other users' accounts or were submitted anonymously.

5. User-submitted content

When you submit a deck list for analysis, the resulting analysis may be stored in our database and made publicly visible on the deck directory at /decks. Deck lists imported from Moxfield or Archidekt remain subject to those platforms' respective terms.

If you have a public profile, your username, display name, saved public decks, and any social links you choose to add are visible to anyone. You control which decks are public or private from your deck library.

By submitting content, you represent that you have the right to do so and grant ScryCheck a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store and display that content as part of the Service.

6. Intellectual property

Magic: The Gathering, the mana symbols, card names, and other related content are the intellectual property of Wizards of the Coast LLC. ScryCheck is an unofficial fan tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast.

All original content, scoring logic, and design elements of ScryCheck are © 2026 ScryCheck. Unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Power level estimates and analysis results are for informational and entertainment purposes only. ScryCheck makes no guarantee that any analysis accurately reflects actual gameplay performance or community consensus.

Card price data is sourced from Scryfall and may not reflect current market values. Always verify prices with retailers before making purchasing decisions.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScryCheck shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including but not limited to loss of data or purchasing decisions made based on the Service's output.

9. Contact
